Mmmm… warm freshly baked cookies - not just any cookies… Monsieur Felix & Mr. Norton Cookies! Now baked and served fresh at events in the Montreal area in our new environmentally friendly mobile cookie bakery!

When
we started Monsieur Felix & Mr. Norton Cookies in Montreal in 1985,
our goal
goal was to make the best cookies anywhere, and we hoped that cookie
lovers would enjoy them as much as we did. We kept it simple, making
homemade style cookies using the best natural ingredients we could
find: butter, eggs, unbleached flour, brown sugar and lots of chunks
of top quality chocolate.
Many years have passed, and much has changed. People kept asking us,
“Can’t you make something that tastes just as good but has less of
the stuff that everyone says is not good for our health?” So we got
busy and tried everything we could find - bran, flax, sugar
substitutes. We even tried replacing our chocolate chunks with bite
size morsels of celery to reduce the calorie count; but every taste
test came back with the same answer: “The original recipe tastes
best!”
As trends have continued to evolve, we have all become more
conscious of the choices that we make. We don’t want to live on junk
food. We know we should eat a balanced diet, and when we feel that
need to indulge ourselves, we should eat quality products made with
natural ingredients that make us feel euphoric. What could possibly
put a happier smile on someone’s face than a warm all-butter
chocolaty cookie straight out of the oven?? The idea for our mobile
cookie bakery was born!
We know how important environmental issues have become for all of us. That’s why our Urgence-Biscuits truck is powered by clean-burning propane fuel, with rooftop solar panels that power the appliances used to operate our on-board bakery. A portion of all sales from our truck will be contributed to awareness of environmental causes.
With a capacity to bake over 1,000 cookies per hour, the mobile cookie bakery has appeared at many festivals, as well as other events including charity drives, corporate events, private parties and local promotions.
